A good share of the calls we take never need a tow truck at all. A flat battery, a tire down on the shoulder, keys shut in the cab at the pump, or a tank run dry three miles short of a station. We come to the vehicle, sort it where it is standing, and you drive away — which is faster and cheaper than having it hauled somewhere first.

A tow moves the problem. Roadside work solves it. If the vehicle can be made drivable where it is standing, that is almost always the faster and cheaper outcome — you are not paying for a haul, not arranging a ride, and not collecting the car from somewhere else tomorrow.
The judgement call is whether the job is actually a roadside job. A battery that will not hold a charge, a flat with no usable spare, or something mechanical means the vehicle needs to move. We will tell you that at the roadside rather than jumping it, taking your money and leaving you to break down again a mile later.

If anyone is hurt, or the vehicle is blocking a live lane, call 911 first. Then call us. Put your hazards on and get well clear of moving traffic if you safely can — behind a barrier or off the shoulder entirely is better than sitting in the vehicle on an interstate.
Georgia law requires drivers to move over or slow down for a stopped tow truck, but not every driver does it. On I-16 or I-95, tell us which direction you were heading when you call, because it changes how we approach and how we set up when we get there.

What if the jump does not hold?
Then the battery is finished rather than flat, and we will say so at the roadside instead of leaving you to find out a mile down the road. At that point the options are getting the vehicle to where a new battery can go in, or towing it to your shop. Either way you hear the price before anything else happens.
Can you open a locked car without damaging it?
That is the whole point of calling someone with the tools rather than trying a coat hanger. Modern vehicles have side airbags and wiring in the doors, which is exactly what gets damaged by improvised attempts. Bring some form of identification tying you to the vehicle — no reputable operator opens a car without it.
How much fuel do you bring?
Enough to get you to the nearest pump under your own power, not a full tank at roadside prices. Confirm gasoline or diesel when you call. Putting the wrong one in is a far more expensive problem than the one you started with, so we would rather ask twice.
Do you come to parking garages and workplace lots?
Yes, and they are routine. Apartment lots, office parking, hospital decks and downtown garages all get worked regularly. Give us the level and the space number when you call, and mention any posted height restriction or gate code so we are not stuck at the entrance.
